Most modern child seats are delivered from the manufacturer with a tether strap on the back that gets anchored to the vehicle itself, and modern vehicles have the anchor mount for just this purpose. Unfortunately, the Vanagon was built long before such safety measures were being employed. So what is a concerned parent to do?

Fear not. We have a solution for you! In response to the obvious demand, we developed our child seat tether kit. Installation is simple, although it does require some cutting and drilling. Complete step-by-step instructions and necessary hardware is provided.

One kit required per seat (up to two per vehicle).

Fits: All Vanagons with pop-top (full camper/Weekenders).
